Q: I just want to have some fun. Do I have to pay for Feedbeat?

No, Feedbeat is free for non-commercial usage.

Q: I have extraordinary much fun using Feedbeat, do I have to pay now?

No, but you may consider making a donation helping to keep Feedbeat up and running.

Q: Can you provide the Feedbeat code so I am able operate an incarnation of it on my own web server?

Sorry, Feedbeat neither is Open Source nor do I sell copies of the code. If you want to operate a similar service and you do need technical advice you are always welcome to contact me.

Q: Am I allowed to use your flash video player (projekktor) for my own web projects?

You may use the embeddable code Feedbeat provides for your webTV player on any site if the respective site´s operator allows this and as long as it is a non-commercial project. You may not use the webTV player standalone, cut out from the Feedbeat CMS. But it is quite tricky to fill the player´s data interface anyway.

However, a stand alone version including required server-side scripts is available for purchase. Please contact me if you are interested in this.

Q: I want to use (parts of) Feedbeat for a commercial project (for one of my customers). Is this also for free?

No, sorry, I am an idealist but it is a cruel world we live in. Please contact me and we can discuss your requirements and how I can help you.

Q: I want to use (parts of) Feedbeat for a non-profit, non-private project. This is for free, right?

Yes and no. We really should discuss this. Please contact me and let me know what kind of project it is and what your goals are, please.

Q: What is the difference between the commercial and the private version of Feedbeat?

There are not any differences. Both types of users do get the same interface and possibilities. However there are some nice modules available to provide a white labeled solution of Feedbeat. Just in case…
