Official name of your channel as displayed in all public lists, feeds and so on. Changing this affects home URL. Choose wisely since you CAN but SHOULD NOT change this later on.
Root resource URL of this channel pointing to an general blog like page. URL depends on channel´s name / tite.
call it slogan, catchline or whatever.
Provide your homepage-, project site-, myspace profile- or whatever URL here. Will be your official channel homebase URL.
Choose a funky image file from your repository. Please note that your logo-file will NOT be scaled by feedbeat. The image provided here will be displayed in all feeds, public lists and within our default webTV player.
A brief description of your channel goes here. You can use BBcodes to embedd images, further URLs and some basic HTML tags here. This text is shown in all public lists, feeds, pages and at the channel-info browser within our webTV player.
Well, will lock down your channel. You will need to dynamically create an authentication link in order to fetch the playlists. Please refer [[io:auth|REST Authentication] for further information. Note: The widget will NOT get locked.
Will force what it describes.
Per default feedbeat pings weblogs.com, technorati.com and pingomatic.com every time a channel got new content. You may want to turn this behavior off here. If you keep this ON this will dramatically increase your video deliveries since most search engines do eat blogpings for breakfast.
Your channel is available as mediaRSS feed, Adobe Media Player optimized feed, XSPF feed and flowPlayer json-array per default. You can toggle every one of those data interfaces offline optionally. Please note that this does not affect “channel privacy settings” or the channel type in any way. Also disabling all this feeds does not emulate a “private channel” (which requires further authentication mechanics).
Feedbeat is able to pump out ANY xml-format you want it to. Our (most of time) very relaxed and friendly staff also publishes some funky public formats from time to time. You can assign them manually to your 3 variable “feedsslots” here.
Feedbeat hosts an incarnation of its webTV player specially for your channel at <your username>.feedbeat.com/<your channelname>/tv per default. If you do not like this fact, you are able to do something against it here.
A feedbeat channel delivers on-demand content only. However we can simulate a live stream by calculating the theoretical playhead position on your channels schedule-timeline once a viewer tunes in. If you do find this groovy, turn it on here. It´s useless but fun.
As you might now you can dynamically inject trailers to your webTV to give it a telly style look and feel. If you turn this options “ON” your viewers can not skip your trailers. Cool, nes pas?
Our webTV application called projekktor supports more than 100 different configuration parameters. Those parameters can be bundled to “projekktor config sets” within the specific configuration tool. If you did some customizing or you want to apply some public config-sets, you can do so right here.
Especially if you do operate multiple channels with different webTV config sets it might become a bit complicated and fuzzy to configure the players. So at this point you can merge multiple config sets to a unique new one here. E.g.: You might have built up a config set to manipulate the look of the player´s controlbar and an other one to set the webTV dynamic overlays. Here you can merge them into one active one for this special channel.
If there are duplicate config variables set the last one “wins the race”. E.g.: If you have set fx_overlay=false; in a set bound to “webTV config set” and fx_overlay=true; in an other config set bound to “merge above webTV config set with this one also”, the final result will be fx_overlay=false;
